Need help with php files and password recovery.

I need help reversing the damage I've done, then help recovering my password for a concrete5 site. I followed the instructions I found listed in one of the forums, but not only was I not able to reset my password, but now the code block is visible. Thank you.

A few quick questions:

Are you looking for forum support or are you hiring to have someone resolve this for you?

Are you using 5.6 or 5.7+?

Have you got access to cPanel or the equivalent?

Hi-I had someone respond previously and I think he's looking into it.
I'm in 5.7 and yes, I do have access to my cPanel.
