I have recently migrated from shared hosting (where my site was working fine), to a VPS, where it APPEARS (and this is after a LOT of debugging) that the file manager is causing some of my pages to load incorrectly or not load at all.

The Symptoms:
I have an area on my home page that uses the default "Image" block. If that area is included, the page stops rendering at that point, and no further.
(however, if I add the EXACT same image in a NEW image block on the same page, and delete the old one, it seems to work*)

I have a Designer Content block that uses an image field, that block also breaks whatever page it is on

When I am looking at files in the file manager, I can click the preview, but if I click "details", upload file, or edit, I get a spinning wheel forever.

*When I add an image block, select the image, and then hit save, I get a spinning wheel forever. If I wait a little while and then just refresh, the block has been loaded.


I have a suspicion that my problems have something to do with my DNS setup, and files not being located. I see that the <img src="..."/> of some images that aren't loading points to files that EXIST on my server and are in the right place, but for some reason they aren't rendering on the page. This COULD explain the problems with the image block?

Anyway, I can pay you by hour, but I insist that you call me or g-mail chat me whenever you are working on the site, because this is something that I will have to manage for some time, and I'd like to get to know the quirks better.
