Hi--We continue to have an error on our homepage which is VERY annoying plus it looks like crap. We are the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati--www.gcul.org Could someone help me to get rid of this error. I asked several weeks ago but the solutions proposed did not work.

Any help would be appreciated. You can email me directly at mhughes@gcul.org

Are you using APC Caching on your server?

I am not sure. I am not experienced with web design. We are changing out site in a few weeks just looking for a fix for now. Wish I knew more...

You could try removing the dependancy on the upgrades folder by replacing the /concrete/ folder with a copy of /concrete/ from a 5.6.1.2 download and then commenting out DIR_APPNAME_UPDATED in config/site.php.

Hey job thanks for the idea. I am not a developer so I am not sure how to do what you suggest. We are bringing someone in to manage this going forward but we are still a few weeks away.

thanks Matt

The directory structure shouldn't be relevant.

The first question about APC seems to be the answer (based on googling for your particular error message).

Depending on how your server and hosting account is set up, this is something that your hosting provider may or may not fix for you. In fact, if you're on a managed hosting plan, you may not even have the permissions to fix this yourself. It depends on how "shared" your account is, and how hands-on the hosting provider is.

You should contact your hosting provider and ask them to fix APC for you. Seehttp://stackoverflow.com/questions/3723316/what-is-causing-unable-t... .
