Once again we wanted to reach out regarding our app, which we used for conferences. Just a quick intro: We are a Swiss company which is well positioned and looking for the next steps for our conference app. So far we used binders, heavy, big binders. 2 years ago we changed to a so-called Kiosk App which just showed presentations of the different speakers.

Last year we developed a "website" with an app look and feel, we runned it on iPads and it worked well. Now we want to reach a new level. Besides app cache and nice swipe functions we were thinking about this:

Users 1
– We should be able to create users, so only admitted people can access the app, we should be able to activate/deactivate this function and also upload users via Excel or CSV. (Name, firstname, company, e-mail, title and important picture which can be showed in the frontend in a participants list)

Users 2
– Should be able to amend their profile

Presentation/Notes
– So far we used the Whale Grid Gallery which works pretty fine with swiping! Data upload or rather implementation should be easier (create image folder, name it, upload it, link it etc). But in general it would be good to have the opportunity to take notes and send them to the own e-mail address. Not only at the presentations also at the speakers or in general.

Push Messages
– We need an add-on to send push messages, if possible only to certain users.

Chat
– We want to have the opportunity to chat with each other

Live poll
– We need a live poll add-on where the admin can steer which question should be answered to like (http://directpoll.com) choosing between barcharts and piecharts would be excellent.
