Upgrade to latest version (ANSWER RECEIVED)
Hi,
We are looking for someone to upgrade our site to the latest version and to make minor clean ups, if needed. The site is currently at 5.5.1.
Send me a PM if you interested. We are a non-profit organization and have been maintaining the site ourselves, including any upgrades; however, if someone is able to do this for us without overcharging we would love to have you!

I hate to tell you but you cannot upgrade your current site to 5.7. You will have to rebuilt it. Version 5.7 has not upgrade path available at the moment.
Thank you for your quick reply. Do you have any documentation on how to rebuild it? Fortunately, we don't have a lot on it right now but would like to begin placing a lot of content on it in 2015.
I found this site for anyone who is interested or who is not technically savvy but knows just enough to be dangerous. :)

You should slog through this first to see what's happening before you make the decision:

Here's the docs pages for building in 5.7 but there are still plenty of bugs in it so I would hold off for a while. None of your add-ons that are used in pre-5.7 sites will work in 5.7 so you also have to wait for developers to upgrade those blocks.

Perhaps just upgrading to the latest 'old' version would be fine for now. 5.6.3.2 is quite stable and your add-ons will still work.

Agree, just upgrade till the latest 5.6.x version!
Sorry, that link goes to a very old forum question.
Thanks bunches! I'm going to take your advice and upgrade to 5.6.3.2 until the dust settles from the last 5.7.2.1 version.
