C5 move to an other server
Permalink
hello!
i have to move 3 C5 sites to another server.
php v5.6.31 ... the new core-values of phpinfo is the same ... on the old server it is php v5.6.3
now, my problem is, all 3 sites are concrete 5.6, with updates... the website on the new server is "blank" ..
c5 don´t load the overrides ... the files outside the concrete-folder...
why? please help ;-) thx

What errors are shown in the PHP error log on the new server? Did you delete everything from the /files/cache directory and turn off Caching and Pretty URLs before moving?
no error´s in the log! and, yes, i have clear the log!
the white page comes, because the default theme is loaded ... but not the outside the /concrete/themes folder.
when i have a theme named "mytheme" in /themes/mytheme, on the old server its ok, but on new server, it is search the path /concrete/themes/mytheme ... in a updated C5, is search the path /updates/concrete5.6.1.2_updater/concrete/themes/mytheme ... but there is no theme!
this is in the error-log...
when i copy the folder in updates/concrete5.6.1.2_updater/concrete/themes/ ... everything is ok. but why does it on the old server run??

You are correct that you should not have to put anything in the concrete directory, the only reason I have ever had that issue was if my directories weren't correct. However that's likely not your issue if you moved the entire site and database.
Do you have a URL I could look to see if I can see anything that might raise an idea?
