Multiple uploads without Flash

Modern browsers are removing Flash by the end of this year.
I still have the need to make multiple file uploads that currently function in C5.6.x using Flash. Is there a workaround I can use so my clients won't be inconvenienced by having to revert to single file uploads several times over?
