5.7 Theme Customisation Question

Hello,
I'm trying to use text-transform properties in the theme customiser but I only end up with a choice of 'uppercase' no matter what I try.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Ideally when using the custom design and choosing a font I'd like to be able to give the options

uppercase
lowercase
capitalise
none

But no matter how I try I only end up with the checkbox for uppercase.

in case anyone else searches on this it looks as though as of 5.7.4.2 at least some of the text styles in the style customiser are only partially implemented.

type-text-transform only allows selection of value 'uppercase'
type-text-decoration only allows selection of value 'underline'
type-font-style only allows selection of italic
type-letter-spacing only allows positive values

I guess the use-case for the various other values is pretty limited and this is why it is set up like this?

I could be wrong of course, if this is the case please correct below

I've come across similar issues with headings. E.g. wanted to try italics for site title in Elemental theme but couldn't get it to work, not through customizer and not through adding custom tags.
