Adding a new Page Type after install

How can add a new Page Type after a theme has already been installed?

Can I just copy the new Page Type into the theme directory?
intalldir/themes/mytheme/my_new_pagetype.php

Do I need to apply (or refresh) it somehow in the Dashboard?

I've figured it out...

Solution:

Step1: add your file to the directory
Step2: go to Page Types in the Dashboard. Then click 'Add a Page Type'.
Step3: name it the same as the file you added
