Adding single pages to Header Nav

Hi guys,
I've been trawling the forums for an answer to this but came up empty, I apologise if it has been covered.
I was wondering if anyone could help me in adding pages to the Header Nav black from the single pages list?
I'm sure this should be quite easy as it would be a common need but I can't find a way anywhere... By the way, I am very new to PHP so please be gentle with me. :-)
