Are old themes and stacks compatible?
My website is using the "Global" scrapbook. Inside it I created the image "My_Site_Name" to replace the text web name by a logo (in boldy theme).
Now, in new version of C5, they say it's better to use stacks.
Well, I have the "Header Nav" in the "Global Areas" of my "Stacks".
And other global areas named "Footer Col.1" and 2, 3 and 4.
But no one of the changes I made in any of those "global areas" were shown in my web.
I tried to use a new free theme, and I could see that it uses the stacks, not the scrapbook.
So I think that old themes are not compatible with new C5. Is that true? How can I make compatible with stacks the Boldy theme?
Thanks.

Hello. Thank you very much for your answer.
My old theme works fine in my upgraded site, but it ignores stacks at all. And I don't know how to tell my old theme how to works with stacks. :(
I'm afraid I will have to wait until a new good free C5.5 compatible theme is available.
Anyway, thanks again.
