Broken Theme (Grandeur)
Hello,
I've been having trouble with a theme from Theme Forrest (http://themeforest.net/item/grandeur-responsive-multipurpose-concrete5-theme/4404967).
When I install the theme within the dashboard, the ensuing page is a long list of PHP errors (see attached screen shot). I can navigate away from this error page and activate the theme, but the functionality of the site remains broken. The theme also has some accompanying files as well, some files containing fake content and the Revolution Slider add-on; neither of which works. For example, when I create a content block containing the Revolution Slider the Concrete5 menu bar breaks and all of the selectable items disappear.
I've tried installing this theme several times FTP and on two completely different Concrete5 installs (one of which is the latest version). I'm at a loss as to where to go next and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks Steevb, I just followed the link you provided. Are you affiliated with BeConcrete by any chance?
No, it's just that you should not really ask for support for an outside sourced theme.
If you purchase a C5 theme from within C5, there is a link for support on the themes marketplace page.

I actually did try to get some help from Theme Forrest/the developer, but haven't heard anything from either.
Because of this I thought I would turn to other devs/designers in the Concrete5 forums who may have experience and/or trouble shooting advice.

The best thing you can do is give it a 1* review on Theme Forest. Users in the same situation as you are regularly getting left high and dry by the developer of Grandeur and coming here for help. Its not fair on users, its not fair on the other more responsible developers on Theme Forest, and its not fair on developers who publish and support their work through this site.
So leave a 1* scathing review on Theme Forest. Enough such reviews and hopefully users will stop making the mistake of funding the rogue.

Is there a folder called updates within the package folder? These errors look like there is a directory missing from the package structure which the package controller is trying to access. This would definitely cause the theme to not install correctly.
And actually, looking at the errors, it looks like there is a discrepancy between the directory paths of where the controller is looking for the updates folder and where the package is actually located. Is there a hard-coded path somewhere in there?

If you can PM me an admin login I can take a look.
