Building multiple layout themes

Hi all,
Im new here, I usually work with wp, joomla and drupal.
I made a trail account to see how Concrete 5 is.
The look and feel are very appealing but i wonder if it is me or is
building own layouts and themes like walking in the wildernis?
Cant find any documentation about remaking my templates from dw to concrete can any one point me in the right direction please?
