Can't change the basic text colour HELP!!!

Hi:
I'm trying to develop my site in Concrete and I'm MEGA frustrated that I can't seem to change the most basic of things.

Here, the P tag (in HTML, I started HTML in 1995, sorry, I'm old) is the wrong colour. OF COURSE I've been through the customisation of the theme attributes A THOUSAND times, but I can't seem to find a way to change the text so that it is readable! Can anyone help me? I'm so baffled by the simplest of things. It makes me want to throw my computer out the window and give up.

You can also set the color of all your P tags in the themes css file. If you need help just send me a PM and I can walk you though it.

It looks like the default text color in Elemental is #333 and set in the theme bootstrap-modified.css file.
You can override this in the theme or using Custom CSS.
Toolbar > Page Settings (gear icon) > Design > Theme > Customize > Custom CSS gear icon button
