Best place for answers on a new theme or add-on is right from the developer. Use the "Support" link on the right column in the marketplace page for that theme. There is also a separate forum link there as well.
In General, when things don't look as expected,
1)review page types from the design tab while in edit mode and try a different home page if available.
2)be sure that all pages loaded with the theme are activated (do this from Dashboard > Pages and Themes > Themes > Metris > Inspect)
3)often times features, like drop down menu style, will be found under "Custom Template" when you select a block while in edit mode. Take a look there to see if your navigation block has a drop-down template.
