Chrome and FireFox differences
Permalink
Hi all, I have a very minimal site (www.natzure.com) that I'm trying to set up as a simple photo gallery site.
I've been playing with "layouts" and thought I finally had what I wanted. I then went to compare the site on Chrome, FF and Edge and ios (ipad) to see how it came out. The Chrome instance looks good. The FireFox and Edge are both misaligned (text is above the image). For the ipad, the gallery wall is all messed up. I'm not so interested in the mobile support but would love some advice on what I've got wrong for FireFox and Edge to be so far off.
The attached image is from FireFox.
Thanks for your help...

it's really not possible to answer your question without looking at your site other than saying it's most likely a CSS problem
I don't have an iPad but I see absolutely no differences between Chrome and Firefox and they both look exactly the same and the same as what's in your screenshot.
What I don't understand is why you are referring to a gallery wall when you only have 1 image in that screenshot.
So I also had a look at the gallery page which does contain a gallery wall. There is only one line of text.
That gallery is messed up on both Chrome and Firefox in exactly the same way and the text is hidden in both as well.
So I am a bit at a loss to figure out what you're trying to do and why you're seeing Chrome and Firefox as different

Hi, here's what I see:
The first image, with the text on the left and the image on the right, is on Chrome
The second shot, with the text above the image is the same site, from the same pc but in FireFox.

You have attached only one image which shows exactly the same layout as in your very first screenshot. This is also exactly what I see in both Chrome and Firefox, I do not see text on the side of the image in any browser
What is more there is absolutely nothing in your page's markup or CSS that will make the text go to the side next to the image so I really don't understand how you could see it do that in any browser.

Sorry, I had selected 2 images. Here's the image I see on FireFox and Edge. I was able to make some difference by changing the image on the home page to be slightly smaller.
This is as it should be and how I see it on Chrome.
Again that's not how I see it in Chrome at all and I can still confirm that, as it is written now, there is no way your site can show that.
Unless...
I just noticed on your screenshot I can see the C5 toolbar which means you are logged in. Maybe there is some styling only appearing when you are logged in which would explain why I don't have it.
First, make sure you're logged in in Firefox and see if it solves the problem and second log out in Chrome and see what happens.

Hi, I think you've got it. When I logged out of admin on Chrome, it then displays it incorrectly.
Thanks, I'll see what I can do...
