Color transparency

Hi,
I'm trying to tweak the bildpunkt theme, and I would like to set the
navbar background color transparent.
How can I set a color to transparent ? Is there an Hexadecimal value for transparent that will work thru "page & theme > customize" ?

Or do I have to set the color value in the css file ? Then how can I do that ?

Theme author says theme is fully customisable, so you should be able to do it with in the theme.

Or, CSS: remove background style or make it 'background:none;'

Or, ask the author from the support link.
