Cozto Theme - main picture disappeared

The block containing the picture this theme originally came with has gone from my home page?, I am now unable to load another block that will cover the entire gap and to add to frustrations I am unable to load any images from file manager - I'm very much a beginner! appreciate any help offered.

I have just had another go, and I am unable to load any image formatts, including documents and including the images that were already in the file manager.
