Creating my own theme - Help files?

Hi everyone,

I'm a designer (not developer :) so please be nice <3 - I'm a newbie and need TLC.

I've been using and suggest C5 to clients for a good 4 months now. It's been very easy for me to use the basic themes and even customize them via the CSS to fit my needs.

I decided to try my hand at creating my own theme for a client (because as a designer, that's what I do) and now I'm a little stuck - maybe I'm just overwhelmed.

I watched the Vimeo video of how to convert a simple HTML file to work as a theme in C5 and so far, it's working for me but there are still some things I need to enable and I cant find the code for them.

Is there a forum post or designers manual that would tell me which php elements are specifically named for C5 to recognize? For example, I know 'Header Nav' is the main navigation bar and 'Main' in the main content area. Is there a list somewhere that helps me learn these? I'm looking for simple things like - how to run a php include in a file...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I really love C5 and hope I can get a better grip on it because it's the BOMB!

Thanks in advance,

Suzy

Thanks Remo, I didn't see this one.

I will read it in more detail this evening.

Thanks so much for putting that together.
