Creme Shoppe - Style.css file partially erased

working late at night (half asleep i guess), went into the cpanel to change the font size for the main menu so I could squeak in another menu item, and I somehow accidentally deleted half the style sheet and then saved it. Doh. Yes, I know major faux pas for editing the live source files, but my intention was ONLY to change one little number. I have contacted Stephanie Hilder to send the style sheet, unless someone out there is awake and has it just kickin' around on their computer?!

Anyhoo - You know what would be cool though, is if you could reset a theme through the site that you purchased the theme/block for. you know - when you buy an app for iphone, and even if your kid deletes the app you can just reload it through the apps store? well, that would be really cool if I could just go to my account here and reload the theme. not totally sure that there are as many dumb people out there as me who need a reset button, or if this would ever be necessary, but right at this moment, for me... it would be the coolest thing on earth. Like the iphone! just a thought.

Try This:
Uninstall the theme, while uninstalling choose the "move folder to trash" option.

Then go to your Concrete5's Profile page and from the sidebar choose "projects". go to your project and "Release" the theme.

Then re-assign the theme to your site. Go back to your site and re-install it.

That should fix it up for you.

okay I uninstalled it(maybe through the wrong area?) ugh, i think I made a mess here. so I removed it from my pages and themes section to take it off the website - it disappeared altogether from that section, and then when I go into add functionality>themes, I can see its there, but when I click the edit button, nothing happens. I can click it a hundred times and it loads for a second - but still nothing happens. So I actually can't remove it from the website at all. So do I manually delete the folder from cPanel? because I can't even load the theme into the website now.
I wish someone was there right now to help me. I have the worst luck/skill level.

Go to your Concrete5 profile>projects> your site.
"Release" the theme from your project.

Go to your profile>transactions>licenses you should see theme there with a "download archive" option to the far right of the theme name.
download the archive, unzip it and then upload it OVER your previously installed version. You should then be able to re-instate it and plus you'll have a back-up of the original files.

yes depending on your site install. typically we refer to it like this:
root>packages>your_theme

NOT root>concrete>packages> etc...

basically just find the previously installed folder and upload the new version to the same place and overwrite the previous folder.

okay, so I loaded 'er back up there, but weirdly enough - my issue still isn't fixed. the style sheet is restored, and the theme is restored, however, the website is still not responding to the style sheet.

When I look at the preview of the theme in the pages section - it looks perfect, but when I look at the actual site it's a mess. I cleared the cache in case that was interfering, but nothing is resolved.

http://host.interimstep.com/~kenegdoc/... maybe you see something that i am missing??

I attached a screenshot of how it shows up in the preview so you can see i am not losing my mind (but i am losing my mind!)

THank you thank you thank you for helping me. you rock!

Try using a different browser or clearing your browsers cache - not just your C5 cache.
Attached is what I see...obviously not in edit mode.
