I have been stumbling through trying to fix this problem but to no avail. I have created a custom theme and created editable regions which is all well and good, I have searched around and found that this is a common problem where there is conflicting CSS from the editor that is forcing other elements in the theme to shift down, notably the editable areas so it make it hard to impossible to select them to make edits or add new blocks. I have tried a few things to fix it which were suggested in other parts of the forum, like applying the body styles to a wrapper instead, but that didn't do anything. I also tried the "Adjusting for edit mode" fix as described here:

I am either not applying the class to the proper element correctly or it simply does work for my scenario. If anyone can give me a proper application of how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
