error message when trying to connect to community
Permalink
I am trying to install a theme I just purchased on my concrete5 account.
I get the following error messages when I try to connect my site to the community
You must specify a site name.
Your site token must be 64 characters.
Concrete5 installed on Networksolutions.

Thank you for replying! This is a new install. I spoke with Networksolutions Tech. and they insisted that it is not their issue - it's within Concrete5 software.
I have a feeling it's server config. What do you mean by local config issue?
I'm thinking I should move my site out of networksolutions.

I have exactly the same problem with our website running concrete5 5.6.31. When I try to connect to the community, I get the exact same error message:
You must specify a site name.
Your site token must be 64 characters.
The site was working correctly until recently.
For some odd reason, the site was listed as not connected in the dashboard, which prevented me from updating add-ons. I then tried to connect and the dashboard kept showing another page saying that it was already connected ...
I then found this page:
http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/editors/reconnect-to...
which recommands to remove two rows from the config table, and since this change, I get the "you must specify a site name" error ...
I probably broke the database somehow but cannot find a way to fix it.

In some cases it's a server config issue, other times a local configuration issue.
Was this working before or is this a new install?
