Eye theme

Hello I have just started using c5 and overall it's great I have been messing around with different themes and have installed the the theme "eye" from the market place which is a nice clean theme. The only problem I'm having is there seems to be no link to enter edit I have tried using safari mobile ie6 and Firefox its just not there it was the same on the theme test site.

Your post does not explain your issue clearly, however in order to edit your website you need to login using this urlhttp://mysite.com/index.php/login... , once signed in your get the edit tool bar which is visible on the top of the browser viewport

Its could be because an edit link was not included in the default content footer. Try manually entering /login/ on the end of the path of the home page. eg: yoursite.com/login/
Once logged in, you can then add a link to the login page from your home page, or the login block or popup login.
Alternatively, you could edit the php for the footer of the theme to contain the php for login/logout from the plain yoghurt theme.

Thanks mr fish at this early stage I'm not prepared to mess with the php I'll save that for another day but I have changed themes now
That's a shame, Its the first time I have looked at that theme and it looks nice.
You don't have to do php to add a login link. Staying within C5 all you need is to place the home page (or any other page) in edit mode and add a content block with the link to the login page. All you are doing is clicking buttons and menus, no programming or html involved.
Or you could install the free add-on login block and put it on the page.
Best to do this while still in plain yoghurt, then swap back to the Eye theme.
If you don't like the results, simply go back to an old version and delete the messed up version. Again, all within C5 versioning.

Insadentley is there is there a way of editing c5 pages on the IPad I sent up my site through my iPad and was hoping I would be able to edit too but it seems the edit window is flash driven and iPads and flash are not friends

C5 doesn't use any flash. But it does use javascript, especially during edit. I think Andrew was using an ipad on totally random a few weeks ago. Maybe best to start a new thread asking about ipad and C5.
