Flexcrete 3 not updating changes

Permalink
I upgraded from Flexcrete 2.2 to 3.0. When I go to Dashboard > Themes > Flexcrete > Customize, make changes and save, then return to my website the changes are not there. I'm new at this. The version seems to be stuck on 118 and doesn't update.

I also get the following message when trying to add a new block;

Warning: require_once(/home/tulmer/public_html/packages/flexcrete/blocks/fit_text_beta/controller.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/tulmer/public_html/concrete/core/libraries/loader.php on line 217

I am the developer of FlexCRETE. Please use the support forums on the theme's marketplace page in the future.

FlexCRETE 3 is very different from 2.2 and older, so upgrading is NOT supported.

The errors you are getting are due to the "Fit Text BETA" block not being present in FlexCRETE 3 (that block is removed in 3).

Here are a couple things you can do to ensure a smoother upgrade:

1) In the dashboard, remove the block type "Fit Text BETA", as it is no longer supported in 3.

2) Either revert Flexcrete back to 2.2, or use another theme. Then, move all your blocks into either the "Sidebar" or "Main" content areas. THEN install Flexcrete 3.

Also, you should buy a license of Flexcrete, as it is now a paid theme (2.2 and older was free).

Finally, FlexCRETE 3 is still in BETA, so you might want to wait a couple more weeks before upgrading.

Thanks for your response. As mentioned, I'm new at this. I actually had my site totally built under 2.2 and saw there was an add-on update available. Thinking I needed to upgrade, I clicked on the update and 3.0 changed several things that I've been fighting with for a couple of days, now. At this point, I would love to go back to my original version. What steps are required to revert back?
