Despite how easy theme building appears a lot of steps aren't included.

So there are three things you can do...

1) If you have the money and your monster template isn't just flash PM me :P or head over to the job forums.

2) Wait a few weeks and you'll notice a proper theme tutorial appearing on a tuts site by me and edited by my team...

3) Take a look at thatryan site, check out remo's site, check out c5mix's site, check out weblicating's site, watch the how-to a couple of times, and finally search key words via google about theme building and concrete5.

thats tru, I remember struggling a lot at the beginning.
how will the tuts work? will it be section of howtos by you or just a collection? (id be happy to help on a couple tuts if you needed some)

I am looking for simple instructions how to convert a HTML template into a Concrete5 template. I want to do it myself and have been searching for information. But my content blocks do not work. I cannot believe that nobody has written a structured document yet about theme development. The video was too short and does not cover much ground. Templates are much more complicated than that. I had a look at this website (http://www.thatryan.com/how-to-build-a-custom-theme-for-concrete5-from-scratch/) as well but most of the code mentioned does not display.
I really would appreciate a proper template conversion document. If you have one please forward it to me. Thank you so much.
