How to provide "sign up" and "pay" options on my website?

I am working on designing the website of my business which seeks to teach various courses. The idea is for the student to sign up for a course (provide information about him/her) and then pay using credit cards and pay pal. Is there a way to make this possible?

I am currently using the Yosemite theme template.

Thanks so much. I am a bit confused. Some advised ecommerce and you have advised the membership add on. Which one should I use?

1) When students sign up, they must select one of the courses available.

2) Once they chose that course, they must answer questions (name, address, time they are planning to take the test, alergies, etc). Does this "membership" addon provide for a way to ask these questions?

3) They must agree to certain "agreements and terms."

4) They must pay.

Does this addon offer all these options?

that addon basically extends the ecommerce addon, you can ask morrtown for a demo probbably
