Is it possible to upload custom theme from different computer other than host?

I am working on uploading a theme or a custom theme for a friends website. I was wondering if it is possible to do it from mine or do I have to send them the files to upload?

Is your friend's website on their own computer or a third-party web host? Do you have FTP access or some other way of transferring files to the computer?

If you can FTP the files it should be a simple process. Otherwise if it's just on their local machine then you may have to give them the files.
