Issue with Updating

Some of the updates through Dashboard work and other do not or appear to not be loading. Anyone know of a fix?
I believe this might be up to the package developer. A new version of the package may have been submitted without the version number in the controller.php being changed to the new one. The package most likely contains all the new changes, but the controller file is making C5 think it's the old stuff.
