moving theme from 5.4.1.1 to 5.4.2.2
Anyone care to tell the step by step of moving this theme? It is located in the main concrete theme folder and not the root theme folder.
Mainly having issues with broken links, file manager, etc. being populated correctly. Using 1and1 as host.
This is on the same server but I am trying not to do an update because I don't want the site to break and be down however long. Installed new c5 into subdomain and want to move them over and make sure everything is working before switching to it.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for you quick response. Good information. Besides the theme folder, packages, and the formatted log in page...what other folders/pages need to be copied over?
Can I package the old theme ina way I can do an Install with a controller.php?

You may also need to copy any root level overrides or code, such as /blocks, /single_pages, (pretty much everything except /concrete and /updates) etc.. (unless they are empty)
The last thing to do before moving is clear the cache, then make a backup, then copy /files. That way the backup will be available straight away to restore on the new site.
If the theme is in a package or core, it will go across. If in root/themes, you will have to copy that also (as per above)

A cautious move would be to temporarily swap the original site back to the default theme, switch off nice urls, make the backup you are going to move, then swap your live site back to the site theme and turn the nice urls back on.
That way, you can import your backup to the new install without any theme risks, backup again, then set your new install to your site's theme (with a close backup ready to return to).
Issues with subdomains and sub directories are more likely to arise from .htaccess and config/site settings than from the theme.
