Plain Yogurt Theme Help

I have decided to use this basic theme.

but after changing the images for the banner at the top on the home page, I realized it doesnt change all of them.

After changing images off all the pages, when I create a new page, it again uses the default images.

How can I either change the default? Or set it up so changing one page it changes all of the images?

Thank You.

Hi there, once you have set up your slide show, save it to the scrapbook, then all you have to do is place it from your scrapbook onto any new pages and it will contain your images.

so to sum up, put your page into edit mode, click on your "master" slideshow and select "copy to scrapbook" then exit and publish, navigate to a new page where you want the slideshow, put the page in edit mode click on the editable area where the slide show is going to reside then select "paste from scrapbook" and you should be done.

Well yes that part I realized,

But once I have 40 pages and I wish to change the banner or add an image, I get to spend a weekend doing so.

It seems somewhat dumb to me that you can not set it to draw images from a folder. Heck you can do this with some pretty simply scripts on normal php pages?

Once you have put it in the scrap book any changes you make will be global, so you wont have to update 40 pages, that would be a pointless tool otherwise.

OH!

I did not know the scrap book worked like that.

So do I have to edit it in any special way? Or If I edit it on one page will it affect them all? Or do I need to edit it within the scrap book?

Thanks!

That makes more sense :)

If you edit the original element you added to the scrap book, it will alter all pasted versions of that element, if that makes sense, upon editing you should get a message on the top of the editor saying something like "if you change this item here all instances of it will change too" or words to that effect :)
