Premium Theme Installation

Needing to set up a premium theme on a test subdomain before installing it to the main site. Does anyone know if this will require the purchase of two licenses of the theme or can I just transfer the theme to the new site once it's ready? Thanks for your help!

From what I understand, you can use that one license for development as well.

Licensing includes 1 live/production site and 1 development area as far as I'm aware.
