Problem with Nav Bar

Hi Everyone,

I'm new and just purchased and installed the "Revero" theme. Everything was going fine until I noticed, while following their tutorial videos to set things up, that I didn't have the nav bar that was in these videos.

What's worse, I tried making my own, but I can't style it, and it won't display globally on every page. Seems like it should be a simple thing.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

If you place your site in edit mode, hover the navbar and click it, on the menu that appears, down the bottom you will see an option for "Custom templates" click the "Header Menu" option and it will apply the navigation as seen on the demo site.

For future reference if you have any questions about the theme, please place a support ticket with us, as we are far more likely to help quickly, its only sheer luck that I noticed your post in the forum.

Thanks for your purchase.

Hi David,

Thanks for your advice; I actually don't know how to send you guys a support ticket.

Nevertheless, I don't see the option you suggested when I hover and click. The search field is missing as well, at the top.

Hi, sorry, should have said, you can send us a support request here:

http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/revero/...

On the right hand side there is an option for support, you can send us a request there.

With regards to your Nav, if you dont have a nav bar there already, if you place your site in edit mode, click the area called "Header nav" from the menu select "Add block" and from that menu, select, auto nav, once the auto nav is there, click it again and select the custom template option and select "Header menu", that should resolve the issue.

Hi David!

Thanks much, that corrected the issue! Now, how do I make it global across the whole site? Do I have to use a stack? If so, I understand the process, just want to make sure it's not supposed to be working already...

Hi there, yes its probably best to make it a stack, as Revero was made for Concrete 5.4.2.2 and below it does not have global areas set up, so if your using it in 5.5+ then making it a stack is the best way to go and then you can add it to each page rapidly as you go.
