Problems with site when logged in... VERY STRANGE!!

I created a custom theme for a new C5 site I'm building and up until last night I everything seemed to be working just fine. I could edit my page, everything functioned as it should and life was good.

What seemed to have caused the problem initially was that I removed one of the custom areas from the theme... Once I did that and re-uploaded the default.php file, I could no longer edit any of the content, and some of the jQuery scripts seem to stop working. The really strange thing is that when I reverted back to the original file the problems did not resolve!

Now I'm stuck in a situation where I can't edit the site at all, although it functions fine when I'm logged out.

The site is:http://www.themethodagency.com/c5...

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! (I'm attaching my default.php file in case that might help)

was working fine. Now all of the sudden when logged in the site can no longer be edited, some of the jQuery scripts no longer function, and I can see some issues

http://validator.w3.org/ says you have an extra </div> at the end. I've had similar problems with template builds. Try removing the last </div> in your footer and save and try again.

Nice looking template, too!

Thanks for the reply tallacman, but removing the "extra div" didn't do the trick... The thing that baffles me is the fact that when I restored the theme file to the last known working state it didn't fix the problem.

I thought perhaps it might be a browser cache issue (even though I keep my cache disabled), but the problem occurs on every browser I try.

Did you try clearing the "site cache" from the Dashboard/Debug?

Yes I've tried that a couple of times (even though it's disabled on in the admin), didn't help :(

Well, I didn't actually figure out what was causing the problem, but I did get things working again by starting over with the the theme build-out, and low and behold, I got it working. Thanks for those who tried to help!
