Simple Blue header and navigation bar customization
Permalink 1 user found helpful
I know this must have been answered before because I see references to it in the answers of other questions but I have been searching for 2 hours and can't find an answer. How do I change the "My Site" text in the header to the actual name of my site without going into the code? How do I change the color of the navigation bar? I do not know how to code and was hoping I could use Concrete 5 to build a website without knowing how to code.
Thank you. I feel like an idiot- I didn't realize I could scroll down in the Dashboard so I never saw the Systems and Settings link.

I see how I can change the header and background color but I guess I can't change just the header or nav bar color. But, also, there is nothing in the nav bar. Any idea why there are no page names (no "Home", "Contact" etc. and I added a page and it did not show up either)in the nav bar (or anywhere else on the page)?
Thank you!
Steve
Thank you!

Ignore my last question about the nav bar- I just figured it out.
Also in the dashboard, go to System settings, and under Basics, go to Site Name. You can change it there. This is what will appear in the title before any page name, unless you add a meta title attribute which would override the default page title. The meta title and description allow you to expand on the content of your site for SEO optimization.
