Single Page & Navigation Question
Permalink
Please forgive me if this has been answered before but I have searched the forums and like most online forums someone will post a question and before an in-depth answer can be given the topic has been changed or the question ignored completely.
3 Questions:
1. I am using a copy of the default theme and have created a single page according to thehttp://tiny.cc/eZeKf Single pages Documentation however I have lost the top navigation links. Is that supposed to happen? is there a way to get the navigation back?
2. I am unable to edit/add blocks to the single page using the dashboard. I don't get any errors the page just doesn't do anything when I hit edit any Suggestions?
3. The documentation says the single page will be wrapped with view.php since I'm working off a copy of the default theme placed in the root theme folder do i need to update anything to get this working?
Thanks for your help

Not everyone at once please. Whose good side do you have to be on to get some help around here? Is there a faster pay for help option?
holy moly dude.. uhh. yeah..
1) if your nav was a block, you probably have to add the block to the single page. similarly, if you make a new page type, it's not going to have the same default blocks as other page types until you go into dashboard > pages & types > defaults
2) are there block areas on it?
3) i dont think so.

Thank you! you were able to teach me as well as support my issue exactly what a forum/community is for. Thanks again.
