Slate Theme

I was hunting around for a suitable theme and came across Slate which seems ideal <http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/slate/>, but it hasn't been supported for a while. Does anyone know of a similar theme? There seem to be scant few themes for C5 compared to other more popular CMS.
If I can't find an alternative, is there much that can go wrong with installing and using themes? Slate seemed to have gotten good reviews previously. I'm fairly robust with my HTML/CSS but not so on troubleshooting mySQL.

But if you're a new user, I highly recommend going with 5.7 and choosing a different theme from here:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/-/choose_marketplace/1/...
Other than that, most people will be capable of converting a 5 .6 theme to 5.7, myself included. Drop me a PM if you insist on using Slate with 5.7.
