Some problems with Boldy them by Mnkras

Hello.
I am trying to use the Boldy Theme by Mnkras in my web, but I find some problems I would like to solve, with no idea of CSS... And there is no help in the demo of that theme.
1) The web title it's shown in the grey strip under the menu black strip on the top. But I would like it to be vertical centered in the grey strip. Is it possible?
2) I can't use spanish characters [áéíóúñÁÉ] in the block contents with special style parragraphs H1, H2 and so on. Can be it fix?
3) I don't know how to use nor delete the special show/hide footer included in the theme... Any ideas?
