Superfish Nav interfering with site name/logo

Is there a work around for Superfish Nav not to interfere with my site name/ site logo? I am using the theme Dark Chocolate which is the default theme in black. I have eight sections in the nav so setting the nav to the right doesn't solve the problem.
Go into your dashboard/scrapbook/global.
Make sure your superfish nav is in your global scrapbook.
Click on design and go to the spacing menu. add padding! to top and where ever else you want it. I used 60 px on the top.
