System Pages layout/structure all crowded to left hand side of page

Could somebody please explain why all of my system pages (Register, Welcome, Welcome Back and My Account) have picked up my theme (Clonemental) but all page content is crowded to the left hand side of the page and theme layout is skewed (see attached).
I'm only new to C5 so I don't know where the code for these pages is contained so would appreciate some lower level guidance. Thanks.

Hi John, thanks for your prompt response.
1. I started out with the default Elegant theme but wanted to change the background image on the login page from the default Sunset to my own graphic.
2. I installed the add-on 'MrKDilkington - Login Page Background' from the marketplace and started using my own image. Then something went wrong and all content started doing the left hand side thing.
3. I then uninstalled the 'MrKDilkington' package which removed my own image from everything but the Welcome Back page?
4. I did some research and found advice on the C5 forum to make a copy of your theme so that future C5 updates wouldn’t overwrite your theme. I installed the Cloneamental theme using the add-in and thought that this may restore the correct structure to my system pages. That didn’t work.
I ended up where I am now.
Any ideas?

If you installed addons or themes manually (rather than through dashboard connection to concrete5.org), a common mistake is to not put the packages in the right place.
Second common mistake is on uninstall, to delete the files without first uninstalling through the dashboard.
Even once installed, themes need to be made the active theme (and the reverse before uninstalling).
Do any of those mistakes sound familiar?

I downloaded the add-ons from the marketplace and then uploaded to the packages folder via ftp. I then installed from the Add Functionality option in the dashboard.
I don't recall deleting any files but used the 'uninstall package' button from Add Functionality screen.

Did you install the theme manually or through marketplace integration?
Have you made any changes to the theme?
