Can anyone recommend a graphic designer or design firm that they have worked with that have a good balance between cost and quality? We're looking for a firm that can produce let's say a 6-8 on a scale of 10 in terms of quality. I realize design quality is kind of subjective, but hopefully you get the general idea... we're not looking for the absolute highest calibre design, but we want designs that are better than average, very solid... and especially designs that demonstrate good UX design, smart designs for good functionality.

We don't have a specific design job at this point that's why I'm not posting this to jobs. We do want to have at least 2, maybe 3 designers that we can ask for quotes on custom work and who can do packages.

This is another key criteria I have... packages. We really want to cut down on the time and communication when we have a fairly standard design request instead of a custom quote we want to pick a package. Example being logo packages. Another would be a standard "homepage plus inner page" custom site design.

Finally, it would really help to have a design that has experience with C5 (and/or Drupal, WP) so that they understand what sorts of features these systems have and can be part of discussions in terms of how we might layout pages.
