Theme name not showing

Hi.
I have developed a custom theme for my site. I was able to install and use it OK but on the themes page it shows as ''No Name'and 'No Description. I do have a description.txt file with the name and description in it. Any ideas why it might not be showing up? I want to create a couple more so it would be helpful to be able to have the name showing

Hi, just a thought is your description.txt at the top level of your theme, ie in the same location as default.php?

Longshot, but I once had a similar issue and it was down to the formatting that my text editor had put in the file. So I copied the file from another theme and then carefully edited the name and description, without removing any carriage returns etc and it was fine.
Copy it from another theme, and see if that works - if it does try and edit it in such as way that you are not stripping/putting back in line feeds.

I think you are correct. I created a second one as you suggested and it is fine.
