Troubleshooting Needed for Add-On "Simple Event"

Has anyone worked with the Simple Event add-on? I am using it with a customer's site and having some challenges trying to make all the bits of event data entered appear on the page that is entered while adding an event.
Also, I purchased the Simple Event Cal extension to the original add-on and have yet to get it to work together... very frustrating. The documentation provided is not very informative and I noticed that discussion topics posted directed to the developer of the add-ons have gone unanswered for quite some time.... So trying a post here.
Any help would be appreciated... Thanks...

Many developers find it difficult to keep up with the rarely used "discussions" thread for each product. At least we do. We have over 30 products to maintain. So the ticket tracking system is where all of our energy goes.
I have actually requested many many times for the discussions thread at the product level to be completely removed. %80 of the time I don't even get an email letting me know a post was made. Drives me nutts.
I'v also never understood why a customer seems to gravitate to "discussions" to get "support" instead of simply placing a support ticket in the "support" area? lol for the life of me I'll never understand that line of thinking.
I wish Franz would put a totally obnoxious pop up when trying to post in the discussions area that says "IF YOU ARE SEEKING SUPPORT, PLEASE POST AND OR SEARCH THE SUPPORT AREA FOR THIS PRODUCT"
Please place a support ticket. You will get the help you need.
Sorry you are frustrated. I'm frustrated too. And I know you or I are not the only ones. Wish the core team would step it up a notch on this matter and better connect support to developers. Makes us all look really stupid.
