I am now in charge up making simple updates to a site that I did not develop. In this latest simple update, I had to upload a revised logo for our site. I first uploaded(replaced) the existing logo in the themes>mytheme>images folder (this is in CPanel by the way); however, this did not update on our live site. I then uploaded the same image in the images folder outside of the theme folder and it updated the image. BUT the new image is wider than the old one and the img width is hard-coded in the html. So opened up and edited the header.php file that was located in our theme>mytheme>inc folder. This didn't seem to update the site. What am i doing wrong?
