Upgrade from 5.5.2.1 to 5.6 fails consistently

I was able to upgrade C5 from 5.4 to 5.5.2.1 but when I tried to upgrade to 5.6 my site is no longer available and I get back to previous version.

Why can't I upgrade to 5.6? I just bought a template from C5 that said it was compatible with 5.5.2.1-5.6 - but it isn't. As I tried to install that template a pop up said compatible with 5.6.

Thanks Concrete5... is there anyone who can answer this challenge?

there is currently an issue upgrading from lower than 5.6 to 5.6.3 - you need to go via 5.6.1 and then upgrade to 5.6.3 after that is successful and it will avoid that particular issue.

However, this might not be your issue. Do you have access to your error logs - posting any errors would help diagnose the problem.
