Using Slate Theme - Side main Side Design

Is it possible to have a Side Main Side Design but as a Home type? Anytime I click Home type, I get a 3 over 1. But would really like a Side Main Side for the Home type.

The question stems from when I select the Home type, the 'Home' site name goes away which is ideal. When I choose Side Main Side Design, the 'Home' site name comes back.

On Slate, the page designs often display Meta information (like the page name)as a design feature.
Try going to the Dashboard > Pages & Themes > Themes and select customize after Slate. Paste the following in the my CSS edit area and let us know if it helps.

#page-meta h1 {
display: none;
}

PS You will need to clear the site cache and your browser cache as well or it is unlikely the changes will show up immediately
