Content disappears, edit bar gone

Hello everyone,

A website visitor alerted me to an odd happening on my website elkhartcountyhistory.org.

Content from two sites seems to have disappeared:
http://www.elkhartcountyhistory.org/exhibits/online/transportation/...
http://www.elkhartcountyhistory.org/exhibits/online/transportation/...

The second site has only about a third of the content available. You'll notice the footer that includes the admin sign-in option is also gone. When I enter edit mode, the edit option is available on all the other subpages, but it disappears when I navigate to these sub pages. I'm not locating any discussions where individuals have had problems identical to this. Any ideas on what is occurring here? No option to edit, content disappearing.

Hi,

there seems to be an error in the second page, maybe with some block...

Try going to Dashaboard -> Full sitemap, clicking on this specific page and reverting to an older version.

Hope this helps,

Jordi

Thank you. This was my first approach, but all the versions seem to have the same error.

If you go to Dashboard -> Logs, do you see any errors? Or maybe you have access to the server error log?

Also, can you think of a specific block or type of content you were using in this page?

I have this in the error log files found through my ftp site. Concrete5 shows no errors:

file name: error.log
empty

file name: error.log.2014-06-15
empty

file name: error.log.2014-06-14
empty

So unfortunately not much information available :(
Maybe you could try going to Dashboard -> Debug Level -> Show errors in page, and see if any errors are displayed when visiting that page.
Also, have you uninstalled any add-ons recently? Or do you remember making any changes to the site recently?

I apologize, I forgot to mention I am using Content Around Image addon on that page. I have not uninstalled it nor does it need any updates according to concrete5. Thank you again for your help. Worst case scenario, I may only have to remake these two pages.

hi,

no worries! I've never used this add-on, so not sure if this could be the issue.

Anyway, if it's not much work, probably it will be easier to remake the page

Sorry I could not be of more help!

Are you still having issues with thiw?

I was not able to resolve it, so I simply deleted the pages and remade them. The only additional quirk I notice was that I was using some photos that were 4-5mbs rather than smaller files. When I uploaded those photos again to the new pages using the standard concrete5 image feature, they did not show up. I had to reduce their size, and that solved the issue. Now I'm using Lightbox image anyway. I'm hoping this was a one time issue.
