Redirect after Login with 5.3.3.1

I am still on 5.3.2 I changed some code on the login block to allow me to redirect to a landing page after login (works great, BTW). If I upgrade to 5.3.3.1 will I have to reset that redirect code or does 5.3.3.1 have that built in now?
