5.4.1.1 + Safari + File Manger Issues
Permalink
I just updated a client's site to 5.4.1.1 and immediately got feedback from them regarding the file manager. After uploading a file, they get a "blank screen." Also, the popup menu that normally appears when clicking on a thumbnail ceases to work after filtering the list via file sets.
Before I dive in and start spending time troubleshooting, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues. They happen using C5 5.4.1.1 and Safari for Mac.

Ok, the issue I'm experiencing is the same as mentioned in this post...

It's surprising and a bit disconcerting that this wasn't addressed in the 5.4.1.1 release of C5.
I suspect that a new page is not intended to open after a file upload and that this might be an ajax related issue. Anyway, if anyone has any insight into this problem, let me know. I'll be delving in to figure it out and make my client happy again.

Ok, I see both of these issues are fixed in the latest non-release version. Great!

Ok, just to set the record straight... I had overridden some core files that I overlooked when upgrading the site. I've got the file manager working properly again.
One "feature" that would be extremely helpful is if there was a way to have the system automatically identify overridden files. I tried really hard to check the overrides before I upgraded the site, but I simply missed some that weren't obvious.

Anyway, it's easy to reproduce one of the file manager issues I mentioned above. Just go to the file manager. Click a thumbnail to verify that the popup menu appears. Now click a checkbox next to a file set to filter by that set. Now click a thumbnail again, and no popup menu appears.
