5.4.1 Image Upload Stalling

I have upgraded two site this morning to 5.4.1 and noticed the file manager uploaders are stalling. The single uploader just stalls and never errors out while the multiple file uploader gives a 500 error. Is the new system using new folders that require new permissions that we need to know about?

I have also found that the add from incoming does not work.

Single file uploader works, multiple file uploader gives me the following:

Upload Error: 406

That is with a new 5.4.1 Installation, no Upgrade.

I did some further investigation... The uploader is actually working. The folders are being created, and the images are placed in those folders, but the file manager is not seeing them and finishing it's processing.

I also did a fresh install and have the same issues.

this bug is possibly fixed in the svn, when the RC comes out you will be able to test

I thought the download said "Stable Version", isn't this already the RC?

5.4.1 (October 4, 2010)
It says stable this is the RC. And it's broken. So it's already released, and one of the main parts required for use doesn't work.

I have the same issue, I can't use 5.4.1 it's a fresh install. Everything works except the upload area, single file, multiple files, incoming none of it works, it stalls or just a few folders are created but don't update in the file manager and do not list.

5.4.1 was extensively tested before release but new releases have a tendency to break in different environments if that environment didn't get tested well enough, so that's why they have the Bug Tracker.

I'm not sure if everyone has access, but if you do, the best place to post this would be athttp://www.concrete5.org/developers/bugs/5-4-1/...

For what it's worth, I am unable to duplicate this issue with a fresh install or upgrade.

If none of you can post to the Bug Tracker, can you provide your environment details from Sitewide Settings so I can go and post this for you.

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply with the link to the bug tracker. I found the same issue already listed there:http://www.concrete5.org/developers/bugs/5-4-1/filemanager-not-show...

So it appears we are not alone in this :)

Perfect. If you haven't already I would suggest confirming it with your server environment details so it moves up on their radar. Thanks!
