5.6.1.2 Feature or bug? Set Names must only include alphanumerics and spaces.

I've updated all my sites to 5.6.1.2 and I'm happy with the faster performance. But there is one annoying thing: it seems that -for some reasons- the use of _underscores_ in a set name is no longer allowed.
Existing filesets with underscore in the set name will show without problems after upgrading to 5.6.1.2 but when I add files to the set or reorder files and click the 'save' button I get the error message 'Set Names must only include alphanumerics and spaces'.
When I replace the underscore withs a space it works OK.
I never saw this in previous versions so I wonder if it's a bug or a 'feature' that will make me change all existing set names with an underscore?
